Wholesale Investor Criteria To invest in a Kelkap fund, you must qualify as a wholesale investor under Australian law. You can qualify if you meet any of the following:

Net Asset Test: You provide an Accountant's Certificate (no more than 2 years old) confirming net assets of at least $2.5 million, or gross income of at least $250,000 per annum for each of the last two financial years.

Large Investment: You invest $500,000 or more with the fund.

Professional Investor: You qualify as a professional investor as defined under the Corporations Act (e.g. a financial institution, a person who holds an AFSL, or a person who controls at least $10 million in investable assets).

Fund & Receive Units

Once your application is approved and funds are received by the Administration Manager, Units in the relevant fund class will be issued to you on the Issue Date. Your capital is held in a segregated applications account until allotment. You will receive confirmation from the Administration Manager and will receive monthly project updates from the Investment Manager from this point.

Project Completion & Return

On completion of the project and settlement of the property sale, the Sub Trustee repays the senior debt facility. The remaining proceeds — your capital plus any profit — are returned to investors via a redemption offer. At this point, Kelkap may also offer the option to roll your capital into the next available fund.
